Details

INSPIRELY, a Canadian education startup, aims to enhance children's creativity through STEAM education kits. The company seeks to expand its presence at high-traffic events like the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) and other exhibitions across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The challenge is to develop a comprehensive strategy for engaging with parents, teachers, and corporate representatives at these events to boost brand awareness and drive sales. Sales & Marketing students will apply their classroom knowledge to create a dynamic approach for live event sales, product marketing, and education-focused outreach. The goal is to effectively communicate Inspirely’s mission and offerings, ensuring impactful learning experiences for children aged 6–14.

Deliverables

By the end of the internship, students will have:

  • Sold Inspirely’s STEAM Education Kits to event attendees, meeting or exceeding daily sales targets
  • Supported booth setup, takedown, and inventory management (including lifting boxes and preparing display materials)
  • Managed point-of-sale (POS) transactions and maintained accurate sales records
  • Prepared kits before events by assembling components and packing boxes
  • Engaged with school administrators and teachers at events to demonstrate Inspirely kits and explain program benefits
  • Assisted in building corporate relationships by introducing Inspirely to CSR or marketing leads
  • Created promotional content (social posts, short videos, outreach messages) to drive foot traffic to event booths
  • Submitted a final report including:
  • Event performance highlights
  • Inventory and sales data
  • Customer feedback and interaction notes
  • Suggestions to improve future events and outreach

Strong performers may be considered for affiliate commission opportunitiesschool outreach roles, or extended paid contracts during the school year.
